    rellison8    		 Down here is SEIA we are a good ways ahead of schedule and I hope to get on ice all the way down here in the boot heel of Iowa in the next couple days.

    I did however get on the ice in the Iowa City area at Kent Park.

    goody    		 I was on a farm pond south of Des Moines, well right in my dad's driveway, this saturday....Dec 9....3" of good stuff and 1 gill in the hour I fished (no vex or camera...grrr), but now the ice is all crap! Gotta love this weather!

    gsmith    		 Southwest Iowa has had very cold weather but we also have had a lot of snow on the lakes. Will probably be next Monday/Tuesday before we have time. Will proceed with caution and fishing partners.
