my Grandpa Johnson. they had been talking about building Brushy creek since the 1960's and he often talked about wanting to fish there since they lived in 5 miles away at the time. he passed away in 1994 before the lake was finished. He had forgotten more about fishing than I'll ever know.

I had to pick Dad! He got me started and delt with me when I was just a little kid and fished every day. The man used to launch our boat for me at 4am before he went to work and I'd fish all day long and he'd pick me up when he got off work. Even though I haven't fished side by side him that much he has been the inspiration that got me so deeply into fishing and I wouldn't trade that for the world.

I too would love to fish with someone like Mark Zona, but he'd have to take a backseat if Dad was wanting to go.

Another great question! I put my Dad because he did enjoy fishing and got me interested in the sport. He never owned a boat and it would be fun to take him fishing on the big waters of South Dakota in search of the "big one".

If the question would have been "two" people I would have selected my Dad and brother. My brother also enjoyed fishing and was too busy working, retired and then passed away before he could enjoy life.

I would like to fish with a "pro" but they are not tops on the list.

Keep up the good work on the questions.

Tough choice, but had to go with Grandpa Rothrock, carp fishing the Little Sioux. First big fish I ever caught was with him at Linn Grove and his "Special Recipe" dough bait.

I would have to go with my Grandpa Berger. We used to get out the old 8mm movies and watch them every few years and some of the fish they used to catch on their 1950s and 60s Minnesota trips were unreal. I know they would catch (and keep ) 100s of Northerns and Walleyes while drinking Blatz and Hamms !!

Yea I'd have to go with my Grandmother Brim. I never had a chance to pull boards with her but I know she would have had a blast. Her and I went out on a launch years ago on Mille Lacs one of my favorite fishing memories.

My mom and dad would come first, then my Grandpa Coppock. I have fished several times with Ryan and I have enjoyed everytime. Hope to be able to do it many times more.
